from me & mine to you & yours

Whew! What a year. I don’t know about y’all, but I miss dressing up, going out, celebrating with good people at holiday parties and weddings. One of my passions is clothes, so I’ve been a little sad about how few opportunities there have been this year to get dolled up and decked out.

So tonight, I decided to take myself to a nice dinner. I did my hair and makeup, and took a few photos of the looks I put together, one of which I had originally planned to wear to a wedding that I was supposed to attend tomorrow night (congrats to Katie & Ian!). I just got a new job and my birthday is around the corner (28!), so I’m pretty deep into Treat Myself Szn.

Anyway, here are some of the results. Even though it’s difficult to get into the holiday-cheer mode this year, it can be done. Merry Christmas to all!
